SprinkCAD v3.5 has now simplified the process of creating 3D piping models for coordination. SprinkCAD Pro has had the 3D piping command for many years, but now SprinkCAD v3.5 takes the model creation to a single operation. The 3D piping model is saved to it?s own file simplifying the NavisWorks coordination process.
3D risers and manifolds can be quickly built as well as complicated pump rooms. Use 3D line drawing tools in AutoCAD to trace a piping section and let SprinkCAD add the grooved or flanged fittings and pipes inserted at the proper orientation in full 3D. Then quickly insert valves and other specialty devices for great looking details that can also be stock-listed. These 3D pipe and fitting details can also be added to the NavisWorks model along with the overhead piping.
